Biography
Princess Luann Marie Bieniak was the oldest child of Prince Edward Bieniak I and Marian Spaulding, Countess of Horne. She was a male-line descendant of the Glücksburg branch of the House of Oldenburg, member of the House of Bieniak-Horne and the extended Greek-Danish Royal Family.

Princess Luann Marie was born in Niagara Falls on 23 May 1950, three years after the marriage of her parents. Like many members of the Princely Family, she was born Deaf.

Volunteer work & Leisure interests
Princess Luann Marie volunteered to work with deaf-blind members of the Buffalo Club of the Deaf. She was a Hall of Fame Bowler with the New York State Association of Deaf Women Bowlers.

Family
Princess Luann Marie had two siblings, Princess Sheryl and Prince Edward. She died unmarried and childless.

Occupation
Princess Luann Marie worked at St. Mary's School for the Deaf in Buffalo, New York from 1968 until 2003.

Illness and death
After battling a long-term illness, the Countess died on 27 July 2005 at 55. She was survived by her siblings Princess Sheryl (Mr Terence Berrigan) and Prince Edward, three nephews and four nieces.

Princess Luann Marie's full official name, title, and style was Her Highness The Princess Luann Maria Bieniak, Countess of Horne, of Greece and Denmark, Heiress in Norway and Sweden, Countess of Oldenburg, Baroness of Montmorency, Lady Spaulding.

Princess Luann Marie's unique symbol of cadency was the ermine spot, and is now used by Princess Corey.
