Biography
Princess Marian Bieniak, Countess of Horne (née Marian Spaulding) was the oldest child of Count Verne and Irma Spaulding. She held a claim as a direct heir to the defunct County of Horne of the Holy Roman Empire. Upon her marriage to Prince Edward Bieniak I in 1947, the House of Bieniak was united with the Crown of Horne.
Countess Marian was born on 20 December 1924 to Verne and Irma in the farming community of Sardinia in Erie County, New York. Her father was a direct heir to the County of Horne. Countess Marian's mother was an Irish-born Canadian who was adopted.
Patronage
Princess Marian was a lifetime member and patron of the Buffalo Club of the Deaf.

Princess Marian had three siblings: James, Reta Mae, and Verne Jr. who died in infancy.
